An interesting story about the cult sports car Toyota Supra from Chernivtsi (8 pics + video)
We are talking about the now collectible model, which was produced since 1993. Until recently, only a few copies of the cult Supra were spotted in Ukraine, however, it turns out that there is another car that rarely appeared in public, but at the same time it was registered quite a long time ago.
According to TopZhir, this 1999 model was registered in 2021. However, there is information that is even earlier! This is evidenced by the morning photos, which are said to have been taken in the mid-2000s. 
As you can see, the car has Odessa plates, although it seems strange that they are relatively new (for those years), so it cannot be ruled out that this Toyota Supra was first registered later. One way or another, she has been "living" in Chernivtsi for more than 10 years. 
Although few people have seen this car in person, there are photos of this Supra dating back to 2011. Then the Supra from Chernivtsi lit up at the car audio and tuning exhibition in Chernivtsi. 
If you look at old photos, with the naked eye you can see a similarity with the star of the film Toyota Supra from Fast and Furious. Look closely at the cuts and not only that - everything was made in accordance with the trends of those times and, of course, with an eye on the fast-paced fashion of the time. 
We will remind you that this generation of Supra received the A80 index. There were two engines: 3.0 biturbo (2JZ-GTE) and without turbines (2JZ-GE). The first option is 280 horsepower (for Japan), 324 horsepower (option for North America), or 330 horsepower (for the European market). As for the atmospheric engine, its power is 225 hp. Gearbox — 6-speed mechanics or 4-speed automatic. The body is a coupe or targa.
