An 11-year-old Labrador named Molly went missing on October 20 from the village of Tissington, Derbyshire. 58-year-old dog owner farmer Mike Herridge unsuccessfully searched for the pet with his family for three days.
“To be honest, I didn’t think we would find her alive. I started looking for her in ditches or holes where she could have fallen. She is completely blind and inactive,” the man said
When Herridge lost hope of being reunited with his pet, his eldest daughter Natalie turned to Drone to Home, a charity that uses drones to find lost animals. A specialist arrived at Herridge's farm. Within a few hours, he managed to find Molly wandering through a pasture just 600 meters from the house.
The owner immediately went to the dog by car. According to the man, when Molly heard his voice, she began jumping around him joyfully. “I hugged her and thought, ‘I can’t believe I’m holding you in my arms right now,’” the farmer recalls. Soon the exhausted dog returned home.
