A pack of dogs led by Alabai attacked several residents of Bashkiria
The first victim was a local resident named Pavel. As the man said, he was returning home after taking the children to school and kindergarten. And despite his injuries, he is glad that the dogs crossed his path when there were no children nearby.
Alabai, according to him, did not even bark, but attacked instantly, grabbing his right hand. Fortunately, a driver came to the rescue, drove his car onto the sidewalk, helped him fight off the dogs, and then took him to the hospital.
It is reported that Alabai and his homeless retinue were caught by special service officers a few hours later. Now the Central Asian Shepherd is in a special detention center. The Investigative Committee intends to find and punish not only the owner of the alabai, but also to give a legal assessment of the inaction of officials who are responsible for organizing the capture of stray animals.
“Investigators will have to interview victims, eyewitnesses, employees of the administration and a specialized organization for catching stray animals, order forensic medical examinations, request and analyze the necessary documentation. During the inspection, the actions (inaction) of local government officials responsible for organizing the catching of stray animals, "a legal assessment will be given. If the owner of the attacking animal is identified, his actions will also be given a legal assessment," the Investigative Committee said.
