Land Art or why nature is the best artist (15 photos)
What kind of “land art” is this? This is an artistic movement that originated in the USA back in the 60s. This is a kind of daring and revolutionary movement, whose followers should use only natural materials in their creativity, and also oppose the commercialization of art. And of course, stand up for nature and the environment. It sounds positive, but somehow weak. But that is not all! Land art followers are not some crazy activists who glue themselves to the roads. Whatever one may say, these artists and their works are worthy of attention. In their work they show that the best artist is nature, and they, her faithful servants, only emphasize its beauty and scale. We invite you to look at bright and cool works in this direction.

Surrounded Islands Project, USA
The amazingly colorful composition was created by the artist Christo in 1983. To implement it, he used a floating pink polypropylene film. The goal of the project is to show that people in Miami live between land and water.
Surprisingly, the use of artificial material when creating the object had a positive impact on the environment. While dismantling the structure, workers caught more than 40 tons of debris from the water.
Works by Andy Goldsworthy, an artist who reimagines the world through natural geometry
