It's not always easy to find the right place for the trophy or medal you've won. Sometimes a shelf with prizes simply doesn’t fit into the interior, and you can’t even bring yourself to throw away such valuable things. Celebrities sometimes find themselves in a similar situation.
In a new Vogue video, Gwyneth Paltrow shows how she uses her Oscar.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow found the perfect way to use a special award.
In the "73 Questions" column of Vogue magazine, the mother of two children showed her magnificent garden and vegetable garden. During the tour, the journalist noticed an Oscar statuette propping up the front door.
Paltrow admitted that her award now serves as a prop.
The 51-year-old actress is also the founder of the Goop brand and promotes a healthy lifestyle.
“What a beautiful reward,” the interviewer said.
“Door support! Works great,” replied the Hollywood star.
Despite the fact that the cost of the figurine is estimated at only 1 dollar, few people manage to receive this award.
Gwyneth won an Oscar for her performance as Viola de Lesseps in the 1998 film Shakespeare in Love.
Paltrow is one of 79 actresses to receive the coveted award since the award's inception in 1929.
“Door support! Works great,” admitted the celebrity
In 2005, Gwyneth said she put her bronze trophy out of sight: "I put it behind the books on the shelf in my bedroom because it scares me. For weeks after winning, I kept it in the closet... I didn't even I put it on the fireplace - it scares me."
The actress admitted that she could not truly appreciate her Oscar, because it reminded her of a difficult period in her life.
Gwyneth's Best Actress win was hailed as one of the biggest upsets in Oscar history, with many predicting Cate Blanchett would win for Elizabeth.
Then a barrage of criticism fell on the 26-year-old actress.
Gwyneth said: "You know, I was 26 years old. I was crying and people were making fun of me. I realized that I had to learn to be less open, I had to protect myself, weed out people."
Gwyneth's team says her Vogue Oscar stunt was a 'joke'
The Hollywood actress has not acted in film for three years. "Avengers: Endgame" was the last film with her participation.
