50 baboons attacked a leopard in the middle of the road
In South Africa, a group of baboons attacked a leopard hunting them in the middle of the road. Video of the attack appeared on the YouTube channel Latest Sightings.
The author of the video, Ricky de Fonseca, was driving a car when he noticed a hunting leopard near the side of the road. The man decided to take a picture of him. At the beginning of the video, the predator is walking along the road, approaching a group of baboons that are sitting nearby on the pavement. The leopard jumps forward and makes the baboons scream in fright.
However, the monkeys who rushed to run quickly realize that the numerical advantage is on their side. The leader of the pack resolutely rushes towards the leopard, and with him the confused predator is attacked by the rest. Monkeys literally lay him on his shoulder blades, not allowing him to get up. The panicked leopard breaks out with difficulty and runs off the road into the tall grass.
This meeting really struck both the cameraman who filmed it, who screams in surprise off-screen, and netizens.
