An 11-year-old Indonesian boy has gone viral online for dancing on the bow of a boat during a local festival. The young dancer recently performed at a parade celebrating Indonesia's 80th anniversary of independence. Only instead of Melly Mike's "Young Black & Rich" from the original meme, traditional Indonesian music was played.
Indonesia celebrated its 80th anniversary of independence with a parade at the Presidential Palace in central Jakarta.
The parade featured military personnel, musicians, and more than 1,000 dancers. Indonesian leader Prabowo Subianto opened the parade.
A special act was the popular social media "boat boy" dance — the boy became famous for his dance during the traditional Paku Jalur boat race.
