New racing coupe Ford Mustang GT4 with a V8 engine (6 photos)
Ford at the Belgian race track Spa-Francorchamps introduced a new sports version of the Mustang GT4 coupe. Automobile built on the basis of the Ford Mustang Dark Horse and equipped with a modified V8. 
The power unit of the new track car is based on standard naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V8, which on the Dark Horse develops 507 hp. However, the engine was rebuilt in accordance with racing standards and works with the new box from Holinger with paddle petals.
The coupe also features redesigned aerodynamics and shock absorbers DSSV from Multimatic. She will assemble Mustang GT4 cars, although the engines for them will be produced on Ford plant in Dearborn.
Private racers and sports teams will be able to buy a novelty, although GT4 production will be limited. It is expected that for the first The new sports car will be released in the 2024 season.
The Mustang GT4 is the next step in Ford's creation on the basis of the new Mustang of racing cars for a variety of types motorsport.
