Worm Charming competition Championships were traditionally held in the English city of Falmouth. To each a participant or group is allocated a plot of land with an area of two square meters, and according to the rules of the championship, they can do anything for the sake of the main goal is to lure as many worms out as possible in half an hour. At it is impossible to dig them out and use mechanical tools.
As a result, 260 worms were lured out. This was done using musical instruments, garden tools, dancing, meditation, and another madness. Worms even read poetry, and just begged for them get out. In their natural environment, worms come to the surface during rain - in dry weather they cannot move on the ground, but in the rain they do it easily, and travel in search of other habitats. Launched by a local artist in 2021, this contest is loved by many Britons. Last year's championship was held during intense heat, and only one worm was pulled out on it. This year championship broke all records. The winning team managed to lure a total of 20 worms, setting a new record. The team even received a silver sculpture in the form of a worm, made by a French artist Nicholas Deshay especially for the championship.
