Egypt announces plans to build artificial river 114 kilometers long. A project valued at $5.25 billion, will improve food security and increase the country's agricultural exports. 
National project called "New Delta" (New Delta) is currently under construction in the Western Desert. Basic The goal of the project is to expand the area of agricultural land in Egypt. 
Egyptian President Abdul-Fattah Khalil El-Sisi said that the New Delta project will be the largest construction project in history modern Egypt. The course of the river will pass along the new road Raud Al Farag Dabaa.
