However, the repair of the coating is by no means fast, and some people are tired of waiting.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, 75, watched for more than a month as a pit near his home in Los Angeles ruined bicycles and cars. When the road workers did not reach the pothole, the actor decided to take control of the situation. Together with his assistants, he poured asphalt concrete into the pit, evenly distributed it, and then rammed it, thus repairing a rather large defect in the canvas.

Schwarzenegger posted a video of the work on his Twitter page, noting that "the whole area was upset because of this giant pothole, because of which cars and bicycles were damaged for several weeks," so he decided not to wait for the road services to begin as- then act.

True, it turned out that the actor was in a hurry, and this pit was not an ordinary pothole, and did not need to be repaired. "This is an active, authorized business-related service trench in the region by SoCal Gas," a city official said. He added that SoCal Gas will close the hole when their work is completed, but did not give an exact timeline. Perhaps the repair will happen in May, but this is not certain.

"While it's cool to take matters into your own hands, Governor, you may have just made things a little more difficult for the gas company," the administration added.
