A video of “French dinner at the burning barricades” is gaining popularity on social networks
It's been a hot day in Paris - strikes against raising the retirement age are only getting stronger. People are demanding the resignation of the government and President Emmanuel Macron. Scavengers are also protesting - the city is littered with mountains of waste. In the meantime, some build and set barricades on fire, others slowly dine in one of the city's restaurants under fires from tires and garbage.
Despite all the hell that is going on in the streets, the restaurants and cafes of the French capital continue to work.
A video has leaked online showing many Parisians gathering in one of these establishments to dine. People carelessly enjoy food and conversations, there is a calm atmosphere in the hall, meanwhile, bonfires are blazing outside the windows of the institution. According to Twitter, the video was allegedly filmed in Lyon during yesterday's large-scale protests against pension reform. Many doubt and claim that this is a montage.
