NASA is sounding the alarm, an analogue of the Tunguska meteorite flies to the Earth (3 photos)

Scientists have even calculated when this miracle will fall on our planet and what the consequences will be.

Astronomers have discovered a large asteroid the size of Leaning Tower of Pisa (and this, for a moment, 56.7 meters!) and found out that he confidently keeps a course to the Earth. They called the heavenly stone not very interesting - 2023 DW.

It will reach Earth on February 14, 2046. The probability that that 2023 DW will fall a little, but if this happens, then it will not seem. Scientists have calculated that the impact force will be about the same like the Tunguska meteorite that fell 114 years ago.

The most interesting thing is that on March 1, an Italian astronomer, claimed that the chance of a collision is one in 12,000, but literally in a day the chance has increased to one in 710, and now it is completely one in 560.

The east coast of the United States - Washington, Los Angeles, Hawaii and the District of Columbia - will get the most.

Countries in the Indian and Pacific Oceans will also feel the full power of the asteroid impact.

However, astronomers are sure that by that time a program to deflect asteroids from their orbits will be enough developed, the chance that 2023 DW will fall is small, so that there is no reason to panic. Although, to be honest for 23 years to panic, somehow too long.
