No wonder the wise people came up with the saying “At 45, a woman is a berry again". Not all women consider the second half of life gray and dull routine. Some are even burning and even fall into history and stories. IN literal and figurative sense.

So, charismatic, but not to say that a directly beautiful lady managed to be widowed twice, raise three sons, seep into models (and then to bed) to a famous painter and give a shit to him young son. But that's not all the adventures of Carlota Ferreira, who quite deservedly received the nickname of the most outrageous lady in South America.

Carlota

Not much is known about the youth and youth of the senorita. The girl was born in 1838 in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. The girl was married to an ambitious man who was able to grow up to finance minister of his country. The couple had three sons. husband was significantly - more than 20 years older, so Carlota was widowed early, only 34 years old.

The deceased was not in vain the Minister of Finance: he left the widow decent capital, allowing you to lead a comfortable life and give a ticket to future for children. And the newly-made widow rushed, as they say, into all heavy. In 1881 she married again, dreaming of a simple woman's happiness. But the husband's family did not come to court. And under the pressure of relatives the man soon filed for divorce.

Juan Manuel Blanes

A bored lady accidentally ended up in the workshop one of the best painters of that time - Juan Manuel Blanes. The artist did not have an academic education, which did not prevent him learn on their own and take their place in the history of painting. Works Blanes are included in the expositions of the museums of both Americas.

He was especially successful in portraits in which the master and specialized. Any self-respecting Uruguayan family in the living room was supposed to hang a family portrait of his brush.

Portrait of Carlota

Ferreira turned to the master with a request to perpetuate the memory first husband and brought photographs of the deceased to the studio. For certain it is not known whether Juan fulfilled the order, but he painted a portrait of Carlota herself. AND it became the pearl of not only the national but also the world collection painting.

For the Uruguayans, this monumental lady, who, it seems, it is difficult to breathe in a tight corset, the same masterpiece as Alyonushka for us, "The Swan Princess" or Maria Lopukhina.

"Demon, World and Flesh"

None of the participants in the story has been alive for a long time, therefore it is not known what started earlier - posing or romance. Temperamental the artist did not differ in puritanical disposition. So, he is in his wife literally stole from her husband. The couple managed to acquire two sons, while she waited for the death of her lawful husband in order to marry. ABOUT the adventures of a famous spouse, the woman knew, but was engaged in her own affairs and looked through her fingers at his many intrigues with models.

Juan wrote his inspirer not only in the front sight, but also naked. On the canvas "Demon, World and Flesh" in 1886, faces the sitter is not visible. But in the author's notes, a note was preserved that for it was Carlota who posed for the pictures.

Nicanor Blanes

By that time, the romance between the artist and the passionate customer already blazing with might and main. And everyone savored the details with pleasure Uruguayan secular society. But did not have time to savor, left with mouth half open as Ferreira, now 48 years old, fled to Argentina. Yes, not alone, but taking his son with him lover - Nicanor Blanes. Who was not even 30 at the time of the escape fulfilled.

How did it happen? According to one version, the highly experienced Carlota herself seduced the young man. According to another, the initiator of the relationship was Nicanor, passionately desiring revenge on his father for the humiliation of his mother and numerous mistresses, repulsing the most remarkable of them.

And although the couple legalized the relationship, the woman was only enough for six months of marriage. Nikanor, like a beaten dog, returned to his father's house.

Blanes with his wife and sons

The researchers believe that Carlota was the trigger, who launched thedu troubles in the Blanes family. Shortly after Nicanor's escape the artist's eldest son, Juan Luis, was hit by a car. Wife couldn't resist grief and died. The youngest son who returned could not look his father in the eyes, blamed himself for what happened and went to Italy, where his traces were lost.

"Samaritan". Blanes

The master went after the unlucky offspring and a few devoted the last years of his life to his search. But never found it. Blanes died in Pisa in 1901.

And the resilient Carlota again went down the aisle. IN for the fourth time, choosing as a husband a doctor, Dr. Yurkovski, who was 5 years younger than the chosen one (she is already 57 years old).

"Battle of San Cale". Blanes

The couple lived together for 17 years, the couple became addicted to morphine, which was then seen as an elegant way pastime. Hanging around the couple went to Argentina, where Yurkovski switched from an elderly wife to a young nurse. Indeed, he left sinful world a year after leaving the overdose. Although contemporaries in this fact beheld the curse of Carlota.

It is said that towards the end of her life her mind became clouded. Whether because of the betrayal of her husband, or because of the irrepressible passion for morphine. However, the age was already appropriate. Carlota jumped in a suit Eve along the branches, like a monkey, bawled songs in the streets, and then voluntarily parted with a hateful life.

Although, having even a small idea of the personality of this remarkable lady, it cannot be ruled out that she simply met another suitable guy and again rushed into all serious. After all, neither Age, neither madness, nor sins are a hindrance to happiness. Taking into account life the ups and downs of this woman and her speaking surname (Ferreira - "blacksmith") she she could well forge her new happiness somewhere else.
