Archaeologists discover ancient tombs with mummies in their mouths in Egypt each of which was a real treasure. The embalmers invested in them in the mouths of golden tongues!

Egyptian archaeologists have discovered ancient tombs with mummies with golden tongues in the mouth, representing, according to scientists, a possible mythological symbol of the afterlife. The Egyptian authorities say that several mummies were found in the Kevaisna necropolis, a famous site tombs in Egypt with hundreds of tombs from different periods of history countries.

Scientists say the real languages of the dead were removed during embalming time and replaced with gold items so that the deceased can talk to Osiris in the afterlife.

In Egyptian mythology, Osiris is the lord of the underworld and judge of the dead, as well as one of the most important gods of Ancient Egypt.

The opening was announced on the website of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt on Facebook. It has not yet been announced how many mummies there were found and how many of them had golden tongues. The new finds were found in the freshly explored area of the Kvaisan archaeological complex, which includes ancient tombs dating from different periods time. The Ministry said that three different levels in the territory complex demonstrate different customs of burial.

Gold tongues made from foil are often found on ancient Egyptian mummies. In February last year, researchers reported about the discovery of a mummy with a golden tongue in Taposiris Magna, 2000 years old burial in Egypt.

Temple of Taposiris Magna, whose name means "great tomb Osiris, located near the Egyptian city of Alexandria, once the capital of the country. This is also the intended location burial place of Cleopatra, the last Egyptian pharaoh and one of the most famous queens in history. Previously, archaeologists found under the temple an underground tunnel that likely leads to her long-lost tomb.

Two years ago, Egyptian archaeologists reported the discovery of the mummies of two high-ranking ancient Egyptians, men and women. These mummies are bad survived because water had seeped into the tomb. But initially they were covered with gold leaf, a luxury intended only for top members of the social elite. Scientists suggest that they personally communicated with Cleopatra.

Earlier this year, another group of researchers said they had found the oldest known mummies in the Sado Valley in Portugal, age which is 8000 years old.

However, other scholars dispute this claim. After all, soft tissue bodies from the Sado Valley have not been preserved, the bodies are completely skeletonized, and this meaning they are no longer in a mummified state. After all formally, a mummy is a dead person or animal that has preserved soft tissues and organs.
