Here's a new installment of our irregular column, "Explain to Me What That Thing Is?" Let's see what interesting things the curious folks of the internet have found this time. Welcome, everyone, and enjoy!
1. Strange gray things at the stadium, located on the railings in every third section

3. A metal blade on a wooden base, approximately 40 centimeters long, found at a flea market.
A traditional Indian vegetable slicer. The serrated part is used for shaving coconut.
4. A metal instrument, possibly with missing parts
A pantograph is a device used for redrawing plans and maps at a different, usually smaller, scale. The first pantograph was designed in 1603 by the Jesuit scholar Christoph Scheiner.
5. A wooden structure about 30 centimeters long with two brass rings and a handle, found in a pub in rural England.
A device for carrying a bird shot during a hunt. The bird's feet are inserted into a hole covered with a brass cap and slide in a slot.
6. A ceramic trivet from a thrift store, about the size of a teacup.

7. An iron tool about 70 centimeters long, hanging in a tree hollow
Hay knife.
8. Flat, brightly colored figures with a ring on the back
Scarf or scarf tie.
9. A massive glass with a scalloped rim at the top
A glass that keeps the ice in chilled drinks from touching your teeth.
