A giant worm amazed an Australian freediver
Freediver Jules Casey, who was exploring the seabed near Port Philip Bay (Victoria, Australia) on December 26 last year, captured the movement of an unusual underwater inhabitant with impressive body sizes.
The Australian, who specializes in photographing underwater fauna, called the false echiurid worm he encountered, which hid in the sand for a long time, the Japanese species "Ikeda taenioides".
Jules Casey wrote in the comments to the video that the unusual creature, whose body length is no more than 40 centimeters, has a very long proboscis, reaching more than 1.5 meters in length.
