76-year-old grandmother is forced to cross Lake Baikal on skates
Such a trip is by no means fun, but is caused by a strong need, of which the pensioner became a hostage.
A resident of the dense village of Khaly, on Lake Baikal, at 76 years old, can ride perfectly on skates that were produced back in 1943, reports Ura.ru.
“And my skates were produced in 1943. But can you imagine how big they are? They did well then!” - says Lyubov Morekhodova.
You might think that grandma decided to go in for sports and that’s why she spends her retirement time so actively. But everything is much more prosaic and sad, in the village where the pensioner lives there is no transport and no roads. Therefore, Baba Lyuba is forced to put on skates when she needs to get to this or that place.
Although the grandmother is forced to admit that such trips are very tiring, the back pain at these moments disappears somewhere, and her health noticeably improves.
