The girl saved an angry little kitty, warmed her up and awakened love in the cat's heart (10 photos)
Late one evening, a young woman found a tabby kitten near her workplace. He meowed pitifully and needed help.
Our heroine spent an hour of her life trying to persuade the baby to show up. In the end, she was able to achieve her goal only armed with a kitchen spatula.
Jenna was a restaurant employee and that night the manager told her about a kitten crying inconsolably outside. The girl went in search.
“I found her at about 11 pm, she was meowing in the cold frame of a restaurant hood. But this didn’t change anything - even though now I knew where she was hiding, she didn’t want to get out of her hiding place at all,” Jenna recalls.
The little predator hissed, spat and generally did everything in her power to prevent herself from being helped. Jenna took some food with her, hoping that it would attract the unsociable stranger. But the little ball of rage refused to give up.
“About an hour after trying to lure her out with chicken, I went to get a kitchen spatula and finally pulled out this evil one,” says the girl.
Finally, the kitten stopped fighting. The poor thing was completely exhausted from cold and hunger. Jenna wrapped her in a towel, put her in a box and took her home.
The little one greedily devoured her very first dinner in her new home. She was given the name Nuggets.
“I fought with her using a frying spatula, so such a “culinary” name seems quite suitable to me.”
Nuggets didn't trust Jenna the first couple of days and tried to stay away from her most of the time.
“She spent her nights on the heater and hid under my bed during the day. But one fine day she fell asleep next to me, purring like a motorboat, and since then she has always been very affectionate!”
That day, baby Nuggets decided that Jenna would become her human mother for life.
“With the exception of fleas and conjunctivitis, she was in perfect health! She was about four weeks old and weighed almost half a kilo,” says the girl.
Now the Nuggets have a spacious home, plenty of warm blankets to snuggle in, access to endless cuddles, and plenty of good food.
The playful side of yesterday's touch-me-not began to emerge.
The little angry kitten has turned into the cutest little bundle of tenderness.
“Since then, she has lived in the company of two other cats, amid endless entertainment and plentiful food. She is bathed in love every second of her life,” says Jenna.
Favorite pastime is curling up in a person's arms and purring heartily.
Nuggets performs his daily ritual of counting the birds outside his window.
“Every day from noon to three she naps on my chest, and at night she attacks my arms while I’m trying to sleep,” Jenna laughs.
“She is so energetic and attractive! I'm incredibly happy that Nuggets decided to climb into the hood and scream about it on my shift! I wouldn’t trade my baby for all the good things in the world.”
