This is Miss Alicia, a young bat from Queensland, Australia. One day she was unlucky - in the darkness of the night she collided with a car and fell onto the road.
Luckily, a passing driver spotted the bat and took pity on it. Having stopped, he took the animal with him and took it to the veterinary center.
Alicia was examined by bat specialist Denise Wade, who declared that the animal was lucky: the bat did not have any serious injuries. They decided to feed Alicia - and it was then that it turned out that she simply adores bananas!

Denise Wade, a bat specialist, took the little flying fox under her wing.
"When I hear about a bat-car collision, I'm terrified," says Denise Wade.
“Alicia was just lucky this time,” explains Denise Wade. “She had no fractures or other serious injuries, just a slight contusion.”
“Miss Alicia will spend a little time here with us to recover from her trauma,” says the specialist. “And then we will release her back to the colony.”
