The Midgardsblot Viking festival recently took place in Norway. It is a mix of Norse rituals, historical reenactments, Viking battles, and craft fairs. Heavy, folk, and black metal were played at the event.
The festival lasts four days and takes place near ancient burial mounds in Borre.
Saxon, Venom, Turbonegro, Solstafir, SKALD, Taake, Wolves in the Throne Room, Nytt Land, and many other bands performed on stage.
The next Midgardsblot will take place from August 18 to 21, 2027.
