Dodge Viper V10-Powered Motorcycle Hits the Auction Block (21 Photos + 1 Video)

Back in 2004, British engineer Allen Millyard—now famous for his wild custom motorcycle builds—bought an 8.0-liter V10 engine from a Dodge Viper sports car. That purchase kicked off a five-year passion project, which ultimately birthed the Millyard Viper V10.





The bike is built around a custom tubular steel frame designed by Millyard himself, featuring an aluminum subframe, a single-sided swingarm mounted directly to the transmission, custom front forks, and a pair of modified Yamaha R1 rear shocks. The 10-cylinder engine pumps out 500 horsepower and 712 Nm of torque. To bring this monster to a halt, it relies on oversized automotive brake discs clamped by twin six-piston calipers up front and a single unit at the rear.

Remarkably, the Millyard Viper V10 is no show queen—it is fully street-legal in the UK and has logged around 14,500 kilometers on the odometer. It also holds a Guinness World Record for the fastest speed with a pillion passenger, reaching 295 km/h. That was far from its ceiling, however: back in 2009, Bruce Dunn from British publication Motorcycle News took the Millyard Viper V10 up to 333 km/h without even pinning the throttle.

Now, years after its creation, this iconic motorcycle is ready for a new owner. It goes under the hammer at H&H Classics on July 22. Pre-auction estimates range from $135,000 to $202,000, but given the legendary status of the build, the final price could easily top those figures.
