Meet the guiña, the smallest wild cat in the Americas, the size of a kitten! The forests of Chile and Argentina are home to the guiña, a miniature wild cat that grows to just 40–50 cm and weighs around 2 kg. This secretive predator is so rarely seen by humans that even these photos are considered a great success. Small, but proud—and almost elusive.
