Children of wealthy parents often grow up capricious and spoiled, because their parents forgive them literally everything, from a broken toy to their first wrecked car.

The pranks of the gilded youth can be so absurd and annoying that it's a shame not to share them. So, a separate thread was created on Reddit, inviting anyone to share the brazen antics of their wealthy friends in the comments.

"Tell me about the most disgusting prank of a spoiled rich kid you've ever witnessed?" was the question posed by user u/Shelf-Life3. The stories were quick to come, and many of them are worth your attention.



"I had a roommate who never washed the dishes." He just threw it away. And I'm talking about real plates and metal cutlery."





"My sister's friend once said, 'I've never worn the same outfit twice, and I don't intend to.'"



"One of my friends was really upset when her parents gave her a 2003 Mercedes Benz for her birthday instead of a 2018 one. And this despite the fact that she doesn't even know how to drive."



"In high school, I went to school with a girl who drove a brand new Mercedes. When she crashed it, her parents bought her a new one. She crashed that one too, and guess what? Her parents bought her another one! Third time's a charm. When she had another accident, her parents refused to buy her another car. I remember her telling everyone how cruel her parents were. And it was because they just didn't want to waste money."



"For her 15th birthday, our classmate received a brand new Porsche from her parents. After that, she posted the steering wheel with the logo on Snapchat every day, just in case we forgot."



"In high school, we did an exercise to get to know each other: we had to throw a ball back and forth and answer questions about ourselves. One guy kept saying he was rich, drove an expensive car, and that his parents owned a famous pizzeria. So, when the ball fell into his hands, he had to answer the question: "What would you do if you won a million dollars?" He answered something like, "That amount wouldn't change anything in my life."



But sometimes the exact opposite occurs, when the rich kids don't boast about their wealth, but instead consider themselves "lower class." A user named Sneaky_peeks shared one such case:

"I had a friend who said she belonged to the 'lower class' because 'while she was growing up, both her parents worked all the time.'" And it doesn't matter that her mother is a hospital director and her father owns a shipyard."



It's sadder when the "golden youth" puts themselves above others. Like the kids in the following story, for example.

"Some rich kids stole a janitor's wallet and started laughing at him because there was practically no money inside. But when the police were called, the thieves started crying."



"A friend of mine has never eaten at Chick-fil-A (a fast food chain) and called it 'poor people's food.'"



Unfortunately, in most cases, rich kids not only brag about their status but also skillfully exploit it. For example, according to one commenter, a guy brought a bag of cocaine to his graduation party and got away with it—not from the police, not from his parents.
