New rules have been introduced for track and field broadcasts in Europe. Camera operators are now advised to avoid low angles, close-ups of individual body parts, and "spectacular" shots, focusing instead on technique, emotion, and the competition itself. The move follows complaints from athletes themselves, who often crop such footage from broadcasts and spread it on social media.
