In China, a puffed rice and popcorn machine suddenly malfunctioned while it was in operation. Children and adults had already gathered around the man, expecting the usual spectacular opening, but this time, things didn't go as planned.

These machines work by heating the grains in a sealed chamber. The pressure inside increases, and when the valve is suddenly opened, the superheated steam expands the grains, turning them into an airy delicacy. This is why the opening is usually accompanied by a loud pop.

However, the video shows that the man apparently overheated the machine: smoke began to pour out, and the pressure gauge readings raised suspicion. Instead of waiting for a safe moment, he continued the process—and ended up with an unexpectedly loud "boom" right in front of the audience.
