Volunteers discovered approximately 80 cats in the apartment of a deceased pensioner. According to neighbors, the woman had been picking up the animals, mostly black and white, from the street for several years.
Residents of the building repeatedly complained of a strong odor and constant noise. After the smell of a corpse appeared, volunteers entered the apartment and discovered dozens of emaciated animals that now require help.
Animal rights activists are currently rescuing the cats and finding new homes for them.
