These superfoods are highly nutritious and easily digestible. They don't cause bloating or heaviness, and they promote normal bowel function—as long as you remember to chew your food thoroughly and enjoy it calmly.

1. Yams or Sweet Potatoes

A healthy alternative to the "classic" white potato. Incidentally, most people don't see the difference between yams and sweet potatoes. Indeed, both contain nutrients that are more easily digested than those found in the traditional root vegetable.

It turns out it's a matter of nuance: yams have a higher water content, making them very easy to digest. Sweet potatoes are drier and have a more astringent taste.

2. Red and Yellow Lentils

Of the many legumes that should be included in a healthy diet, lentils are the easiest to digest. Furthermore, lentils are high in iron. By improving digestion, they also normalize blood sugar levels.

An added bonus: lentils don't accumulate toxins and are rich in vitamin B1 and essential amino acids.

3. Avocado

Unsightly in appearance, this soft fruit is surprisingly rich in protein and fiber: a medium-sized avocado contains about 12 grams of healthy fiber. Despite its dense texture, it doesn't leave you feeling full.

By including avocado in your diet, you'll eliminate several problems at once: this exotic fruit improves the composition of intestinal microflora, increases peristalsis, and normalizes bowel movements. Incidentally, according to Ayurveda, avocado strengthens the immune system.

If you're worried about an unexpected reaction, add lime, a pinch of salt, and cilantro to the fruit—they'll help it digest better.

4. Bran and Cereals

These are ideal breakfast foods: a bowl of cereal, seasoned with fruit pieces and honey (almost 14 grams of pure fiber), will get your digestive system in the right mood and keep you feeling full for a long time.

When it comes to sprouted wheat and whole oats, nature has yet to invent better foods for digestive health.

Pour hot water over the grains and let them steep for a while – a healthy treat for your stomach is ready!

5. Spinach

Among green vegetables, it's a recognized leader in digestibility and digestive safety. If you don't want to crunch on green leaves, make a drink.

Spinach juice is rich in manganese, a substance vital for normal metabolism, proper brain and thyroid function, and the production of happiness hormones.

6. Almonds

Almonds normalize metabolism, improve vision, and have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system—the list of their beneficial properties doesn't end there.

They are also a natural source of vitamins and minerals. Just don't overdo it: a handful of nuts (about ten) a day is enough.

Add them to smoothies or use them as a healthy snack.

7. Persimmon

This fruit is especially recommended for digestive issues, thanks to its pectin.

Due to its unique composition, persimmon not only cleanses the intestines but also serves as a key food source for bifidobacteria, stimulating their growth and activity.

8. Flaxseeds

Another must-have product for those with digestive problems.

Ordinary-looking seeds have tremendous potential: they lower blood cholesterol, protect the inflamed esophageal lining from irritation, reduce the absorption of toxins, normalize bowel movements—the list goes on and on.

9. Green Tea

To improve digestion, it's important not only to monitor what's on your plate but also what's in your mug. Green tea is a sure bet.

Thanks to the catechins it contains, it reduces appetite and improves digestion. You won't have to give up your favorite drinks—just one cup of green tea a day is enough for a "healthy" effect. Although, as they say, you quickly get used to good things.

10. Natural Yogurt

Eating yogurt is perhaps the easiest way to normalize digestion. The thick, snow-white "mousse" supplies the body with beneficial bacteria that stimulate intestinal function.

There are many ways to pamper your body: you can have yogurt for breakfast, serve it as a dessert at lunch, or replace unhealthy sweets with it at dinner. For a healthy metabolism, eating yogurt just once a day is enough.
