A resident of Bedford, UK, has driven his 2017 Suzuki Vitara over 700,000 kilometers (436,500 miles). The owner drove the car over 77,000 kilometers (48,000 miles) annually, meaning an average daily mileage of 211 kilometers (including weekends and holidays), according to the RAC service company. This figure is said to be the highest ever recorded for a Vitara model in the UK.

Despite its extensive mileage, the compact crossover still features its original 1.6-liter gasoline engine and transmission, although it's not specified whether it's a manual or automatic. The factory-installed exhaust system has also remained unchanged.

It's also noted that during its entire period of intensive use, no engine oil leaks or serious technical malfunctions were recorded. Routine maintenance was limited to standard procedures.

The only unscheduled repair during this entire period was the replacement of the rubber driveshaft boot. Over the course of nine years, the car has had 15 sets of tires.
