How firefighting planes extinguish kilometers of fire with a single drop
A video has surfaced online that clearly demonstrates the destructive power of a water drop from a firefighting aircraft. Aviation remains one of the most effective tools in the fight against large-scale fires. For example, the Il-76TD transport aircraft can carry up to 42 tons of water in a single flight. This volume is enough to cover a fire lane approximately 100 meters wide and over half a kilometer long.
