The humanoid robot Sophia performed alongside a live symphony orchestra. As part of a themed concert, Sophia performed three original songs accompanied by the Hong Kong Baptist University Orchestra. Following the performance, Sophia gave a speech, stating her dream of "bringing humans and machines closer together" through music.
According to the developers at Hanson Robotics, the preparation took considerable time—the engineers "strived to preserve Sophia's unique style as much as possible and harmoniously integrate her voice into the classical orchestral sound."
