The fennec fox is a miniature fox with large ears and a cute face, native to deserts. Fennec foxes often use their bushy tail as a pillow.
They are known to dissipate heat through their large ears, but it's also possible that by tucking their tail under their head or body, the fox creates an additional cushion, avoiding direct contact with hot sand or rocks.
