Americans found a baby turtle inside a bass they caught. 
In the United States, the Lauritson family rescued a baby turtle they found inside a bass. On March 21, John Lauritson went fishing with his 11-year-old son, Andrew. Together, they caught six bass. Returning home, John began to fillet the fish and suddenly pulled a live turtle out of one of the bass.
He carefully washed the baby turtle from the fish's entrails and placed it in a bowl of water. The Lauritsons decided to name the baby turtle Jonah, after the biblical character who, according to Scripture, spent three days and three nights inside a giant fish.
The couple didn't want to release the baby turtle right away. They thought he was in shock and therefore especially vulnerable. Only after some time did Andrew pick up Jonah and release him into the pond. The boy admitted he was proud of his unusual catch.
