Women used a plastic crow to deliver drugs to a prison (3 photos)
Guards at the Grant County Jail in Louisiana, USA, discovered that not every bird flying above them was real.
It turns out that a plastic crow had been visiting the prison several times, and the artificial bird was actually a smuggler, delivering drugs, tobacco, and cell phones to the inmates. An investigation into a bizarre crime led authorities to 38-year-old Melanie Jean Worthington and 41-year-old Cassie Marie Cole, who used a drone disguised as a crow to allow inmates to receive illegal "packages."
The women were paid $40,000 for the unusual courier delivery, but the money didn't bring them joy, as both perpetrators now face multiple charges. ![]()
