Engineer Kiara brought the D-OK robot to life. She built it from parts of an inexpensive handheld vacuum cleaner, modifying the internal electronics.
She 3D-printed D-OK's body using a model by artist MrBaddeley.
The "real" D-OK is controlled by a remote control, can turn its head, and moves in almost any direction.
