20 Years of Research Have Not Been in Vain: Scientists from Japan Conquered baldness (photo)
The Japanese have conquered baldness—an institute spent 20 years on research and appears to have found the missing element in hair regeneration. Bald heads, assemble! All the details are in the rest of the post.
Details of the coming revolution:
— Previously, hair loss was treated with two types of cells: hair began to grow, but then fell out, and new growth was not triggered;
— The new ABM cell initiates a complete natural cycle of "growth-loss-new growth," preventing hair from dying altogether;
— Most importantly, the risk of rejection is minimal, since the procedure uses the patient's own cells.
Tests on mice were successful, and human testing is next.
