The title of the longest wild snake on the planet has been taken by a female reticulated python, "Baroness." The giant snake was found in the forests of Indonesia.
A giant female python, Baroness, from Indonesia has become the longest snake in the world. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, she measures 7.22 meters from head to tail. Despite currently "eating sparingly," Baroness weighs up to 96.5 kg.
"The most striking thing about this snake is its strength, as well as its ability to expand when swallowing prey the size of a cow," wildlife photographer Radu Frentiu marveled at the Baroness.
