A courier was forced to climb stairs with a heavy parcel
A video showing a courier struggling up several flights of stairs with a huge package on his back has sparked a heated debate about respect for labor and housing cooperative regulations.
The package the stranger was delivering was both heavy and large. It needed to be carried up to the sixth floor. The logical option would have been to take the elevator, but the building has rules prohibiting delivery employees from using the elevator. The poor guy was forced to drag his bag up the stairs.
Discussing the courier's misadventures, social media users were divided. Some believe that not allowing couriers into elevators is discriminatory. But others believe that delivery employees with extremely heavy loads could easily damage regular passenger elevators if they used them.
