A courier from a delivery service stole a dog near a police station

In Benton County, Arkansas, a delivery driver dropped off an order at a police station and then stole a "dog" that turned out to be a K9 statue as he was leaving.

Cops say a delivery driver named Hector dropped off an order at the police station and drove away. Cops later discovered that the K9 statue was missing, but surveillance cameras showed exactly how the statue disappeared.

"Yeah... right outside our station. It was all caught on camera. We couldn't believe it either. Too crazy, sir," the police said in a statement.

Cops are asking the public to identify the thief before Door Dash releases the worker's personal information to law enforcement.

"And Hector, if you see this, please bring our dog home where he belongs. He is not a tip. He is not decoration. He is a tribute," Benton County police said in a statement.
