Need For Speed is resting: cops pursued a suspect on the highway
A funny situation occurred in the American state of Ohio, when police officers in the city of Akron were forced to chase a goat that, for unknown reasons, ended up on the highway.
The footage from the cops' cameras shows that the goat repeatedly "escaped" from its pursuers, running either to a concrete curb or into a nearby thicket. After several unsuccessful attempts, the cops were able to catch the springy animal after 30 minutes, judging by the time on the body cameras.
"Akron police officers were able to catch the goat. They later discovered that it had no tags, chips or markings that would indicate its owner," law enforcement officials report, adding that the animal was placed in a car, and animal protection officers took the animal to a farm.
The cops themselves jokingly named the goat "Fugitive" by analogy with the famous 1993 film "The Fugitive" starring Harrison Ford. At the same time, in the comments to the Akron police post, users were glad that the animal remained unharmed and that the police did their job professionally.
