Automatic scheduled cleaning is one of the most convenient features of a robot vacuum. However, it can also be a real pain for cat and dog owners. The sensors in many standard robot vacuums don't detect pet waste. If a pet accidentally leaves a "surprise" on the carpet, the vacuum, following its preset route, is likely to run over it.
