A one-year-old baby fell out of a moving car in the US and miraculously survived
In the US state of California, a one-year-old child fell from a moving car and miraculously survived. His mother has been arrested on child abuse charges.
Jacqueline Hernandez, 35, was crossing a busy intersection in Fullerton in a black SUV when her 19-month-old child fell from the passenger seat.
Video circulated on social media shows the child landing directly under the wheels, but fortunately, he was not seriously injured. The driver of a car behind him managed to brake. Jacqueline stopped the car abruptly, ran to the child, and picked him up.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital, and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
Hernandez's arrest was based on a witness's statement. Police reminded parents that children should be transported in a car seat.
