US residents and their dog, Fin, encountered two humpback whales off the coast of San Diego. Their encounter was captured on video.

Fin is the pet of Domenic Biagini, who organizes whale watching tours. He often accompanies his owner on boat trips. On January 10, he was lucky enough to encounter two whales.
The dog was not at all afraid of the whales. He stood on the bow of the boat, began barking at the whales, and tried to reach them. The whales also showed interest in man's four-legged friend and at one point almost touched noses with him. According to Biagini, the whales circled the boat for about an hour and a half.
