A father and son team from South Africa have built the world's fastest drone. It reached an impressive speed of 657 km/h. 
The world's fastest drone has reached a speed of 657 km/h. It was built by engineers and enthusiasts Mike Bell and Luke Bell. The father and son team have been working on the project for over two years, and this is already the fourth version of the drone.
The idea sparked the couple a few years ago when they saw a Red Bull F1 drone, which was considered the fastest at the time. They ended up surpassing him by more than two times and have already made it into the Guinness Book of Records several times.
