New footage of the Louvre heist that took place in October 2025 has been released online. Previously, CCTV footage remained hidden.
French television channel TF1 has released exclusive footage of the Louvre heist that took place in October 2025.
CCTV footage captured two burglars. The footage shows them cutting through protective glass with grinders, then smashing it with their elbows and stealing jewelry.
The robbery at the Paris museum took place on October 19. The criminals entered the Louvre in the morning. They donned yellow work vests, climbed a construction ladder to the window of the Apollo Gallery, and stole nine items from Napoleon's jewelry collection in just a few minutes. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at approximately 76 million euros (seven billion rubles).
Earlier, one of the suspects in the Louvre robbery in Paris testified that two men with Slavic accents offered him the chance to commit the crime. Police are treating this testimony with caution, but they suspect they may be able to trace the crime's sponsors abroad.
