Public foot baths exist in Japan

Public foot baths are popular in Japan, where anyone can relax after a walk. They can be found on streets, in parks, and even at train stations in Nagasaki, Hokkaido, Kobe, and other hot spring regions.

The water in the mini-baths is constantly filtered, remaining clean, and the temperature is maintained at 38–42 degrees Celsius (100–108 degrees Fahrenheit). Most of these baths are free, but a donation is welcome.
