TOP richest young stars who started their careers in "Harry Potter" (9 photos)

Almost 25 years have passed since the release of "The Philosopher's Stone," and the child wizards have become major stars with impressive fortunes. Some have pursued acting careers, while others have found their niche in ordinary Muggle life. The money-counting website Lovemoney has compiled a list of the 13 wealthiest former Hogwarts children, from modest millionaires to the truly rich.

13th-12th place: Oliver and James Phelps — $1 million each

The inseparable brothers who played Fred and George Weasley auditioned with no experience and walked away with iconic roles. After the franchise, they starred together in several films, launched the podcast "Normal Not Normal," and even hosted a Potter-themed cooking show, "Fantastic Friends," where they often invited their fellow Potter stars.

11th place: Alfred Enoch — $3 million

The actor who played Dean Thomas later found his niche in dramatic television shows like "Broadchurch" and "How to Get Away with Murder." He also appeared on "Sherlock." He also acts occasionally.

10th-8th place: Harry Melling, Evanna Lynch, and Bonnie Wright — $4 million

The unlikable Dudley Dursley has become quite a sought-after actor, unrecognizable in his current roles. After "Potter," he shone in the hyped-up "The Queen's Gambit," and also appeared in "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs," "The Immortal Guard," and "The Devil All the Time." Melling's biggest transformation is physical: he lost a significant amount of weight, which literally opened the door to a new type of role. He also has a rather sinister (not comical, like in the Potter series) appearance when playing villains.

Luna Lovegood, who plays the role of Luna, burst onto the scene at 14 and instantly became a fan favorite. Since filming, Evanna has mostly starred in unseen indie projects, but is an active advocate for animal rights.

Ginny Weasley, who plays Ginny, has quietly built a portfolio as a director, producer, and book author. Bonnie makes short films, leads eco-projects, and remains in the industry, though she hasn't appeared in major films.

7-6 Places: Katie Leung and Matthew Lewis — $5 million

The actress who plays Cho Chang has appeared in only a few films, but has made it an excellent launchpad for her career. She has many projects, including voice work for Arcane and games like Cyberpunk 2077, but they are mostly very niche.

Neville has transformed from a timid boy into a confident actor, albeit with a limited filmography: Happy Valley, All Creatures Great and Small, the film Me Before You, and, as usual, active work in the theater and podcasts, a TV show where everyone is amazed at how much he's changed, and charity work.

5th place: Tom Felton — $10 million

This young man could well have become the biggest movie star among all the young Potter characters, but he hasn't yet. He starred in The Flash, Ophelia, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and in 2025, he returned to the Wizarding World and played the grown-up Malfoy in the Broadway production of Cursed Child. He also published an autobiography, which, incidentally, enjoyed considerable popularity: Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard. Felton's media presence is more interesting than his acting, no secret.

4th place: Rupert Grint — $50 million

Wow, who's the one missing from the top three? The actor who played Ron Weasley continued acting after Hogwarts, but not very prominently. He has the series "Servant," "Snatch," "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities," and the film "Knock on Door." Well, that's okay, but Rupert has been investing in real estate for a long time, which, among other things, has earned him a tidy fortune.

3rd place: Emma Watson — $85 million

Hermione grew up over the summer and left acting. Sigh. She had big films, like "Beauty and the Beast" and "Little Women." They were pure Hollywood hits. But Emma hasn't acted in films for six years, since 2019, and it seems she has no intention of doing so. But she is a UN Goodwill Ambassador and has contracts with Chanel, Prada, and Burberry. She can't go to waste without acting.

2nd place: Robert Pattinson — $100 million

Ah, we've forgotten someone. Even before Twilight, Pattinson played Cedric Diggory. And this young man really took off: after the Potter franchise, he achieved worldwide fame, with arthouse films, Batman, The Lighthouse, and Tenet. Of all the actors listed, he's the one we can most likely expect an Oscar nomination from. He's truly established himself in world cinema and become a Hollywood star.

Daniel Radcliffe — $110 million

Harry Potter went through thick and thin, but earned over $100 million from the Wizarding World, and then built a solid career in film and theater. In general, Radcliffe is the most consistent experimenter among all the young actors in the Harry Potter series.
