This came to light after Jamie Booker's victory. It appears DNA testing was not conducted before the competition.
American Jamie Booker has been stripped of her "World's Strongest Woman" title after it was discovered she was born a biological male. Her victory at the Official Strongman Games in Arlington, Texas, was stripped because athletes are required to compete in the category corresponding to their biological sex at birth.
Tournament organizers stated they were unaware of Booker's biological sex before the competition and immediately launched an investigation after discovering the information. The competition rules are strict: participants must adhere to the biological sex assigned at birth, which served as grounds for disqualification.

After being stripped of her title, the victory was awarded to British athlete Andrea Thompson, who had already expressed dissatisfaction with the result during the awards ceremony.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the British athlete stated that questions about Booker arose when her photos and videos were found online on a pornographic website. According to Thompson, the competition organizers gave the winner 24 hours to explain the situation, and without receiving a response, they stripped her of her title.
Britain's Andrea Thompson, who finished second, became the winner after Booker's disqualification.
The British athlete is certainly happy with this turn of events, but her victory is still tinged with frustration: "Now I'm the strongest woman in the world, but it still robbed me of a moment I should have been enjoying. Now I have to deal with a lot of people who say a lot of negative things. I should be on cloud nine, soaring and celebrating," Thompson said.
Jamie Booker herself has not yet made any public comments.
