A portable toilet fell off a bridge in Seville.
An unusual incident occurred on one of Seville's busiest bridges, the Centenario Bridge (Puente del Centenario). A portable sanitary cabin, used by workers at a construction site, fell from a great height onto the roadway. The fall shattered the plastic structure, scattering its contents across the road.
The incident occurred around 5:30 PM, when heavy traffic was crossing the bridge. Although the cabin landed directly on the center lane, no vehicles were hit. Drivers were forced to brake sharply to avoid the unexpected obstacle. Fortunately, no one was injured, and no vehicles were damaged.
At the time of the incident, extensive work was underway on the Centenario Bridge to replace the cables that support the structure. The portable cabin was being moved by construction equipment when it suddenly broke loose and fell. A major company is leading the work on this site, and the contract value exceeds 100 million euros. This project is considered one of the most significant for the city in recent years.
