Steam forces boiling water into a glass vessel, where it brews the coffee. When the water has completely transferred, a counterweight is activated, the flame extinguishes, the pressure drops, and the brewed coffee is automatically drawn back into the vessel on the right, leaving the grounds on the left. All that remains is to pour the drink into a cup.
